My culinary inspiration comes from growing up in Uzbekistan, cooking with my grandmother on her farm and sharing delicious food from our culture with everyone who comes into my life.
Ive been cooking since I was 4 years old! Starting off picking chamomile buds and peeling blanched tomatoes for canning to help my family preserve food and culinary medicine from our farm.
When we immigrated to America, I was introduced to so many wonderful flavors and cultures which deepened my love for cooking.
I graduated from The Institute of Culinary Education in New York City and immediately began working at the Michelin Starred restaurant, The Spotted Pig.
From there I was lucky to be introduced to the world of Food Media and spent many years learning and eventually becoming a Food Editor at Epicurious and Bon Appetit. This is where I learned to style food beautifully and with personality. Ive since worked on projects for publications such as YouTube, Delish, Food and Wine, Silver Fern Farms, Food Network, HelloFresh, Kroeger as well as various cookbooks and advertisements.
